Blast from the Past

Last friday I was able to meet up with Dana and Ashley, two of my old roomies from Ricks. It was an all to quick reunion in a random shoe store...but TOTALLY worth it!! Dana lives nearby, and we have run into eachother in the most RANDOM places...but Mrs. Ash and I haven't seen eachother since 2005! WAY too long! We quickly caught up, reminised about old times and hugged goodbye!! I PROMISE we will do this again soon!! Miss you girls!!
PS...Sabrina, you were missed!!

Tick Tock...Tick Tock...

Daylight Savings: From a Clock Collectors Perspective

Changing your clocks may not seem like a big deal, to you. I on the other hand have to set aside a whole weekend, devoted to changing my 22 clocks. (Please note, the 22 clocks doesn't include cell phone, car radio, iHome, alarm, etc....just my "clock collection")
Needless to say, twice a year I am a seriously busy girl. Therefore....my excuse for not blogging this week.
(not to mention...my life has suddenly turned extremely boring, and I have nothing to blog about)

"Workin 9-5". . . .

Many of you know that Christmas Eve, I was "laid off"....due to this wonderful thing, we blame EVERYTHING on...the Economy.

After MANY interviews/phone calls/printed resumes/etc...I have a job. I am working for Rodworks in Draper as their Manager. For all you locals, I expect visitors. For you, not-so-local's...I still expect visits. Rodworks is a SUPER cute home decor store (that sells...TONS of CLOCKS...i'm toast) My first day is TOMORROW...and I am super excited. As you have probably guessed...this is FULL TIME!! Hence, I may not be checking Email/Facebook/Blogger every hour; BUT STILL at least once/twice a day:)

Side note: I would like to send out a congrats to my 3 winners of the "Pay it off" contest. Cheers ladies, you did well.
Sabrina, Ashley R, Keesa....a job well done my friends. Please text me your home address....so I can mail off the loot.

California Sun????

Universal Studios:
Clearly we headed to California for sunshine and warm weather (and I PACKED for sunshine and warm weather) LUCKILY, Steve was kind enough to lend me his sweatshirt...it was FREEZING!

After about 20 minutes of being in the park, rain started coming down in BUCKETS!! We bought these amazing little ponchos for $3.00 INSIDE the park. WHAT A STEAL!! We may look like drowning ducks, but we were (kinda) dry.

Minus the zero degree weather, the seattle like rainstorm and the fact that my pants were soaked to my thigh...we had an great time!
Sea World:

On Valentines day we went to Sea World, and celebrated love day with a giant whale. The weather was PERFECT!!! Blue skies and about 60 degree weather. No complaints here!! The only times we got wet....were because we would sit in the SOAK ZONE! After Sea World, we met up with Tracy and Micah for dinner at the BEST little mexican joint and then went hot tubbing!! SOOOO FUN!!
Six Flags:

"A friend will bail you out of Jail, but your best friends the one sitting next to you saying ' DAMN THAT WAS FUN! '. Pardon my french....but that is what the quote says:)

I am not entirely sure what happended to this picture....the lighting is CRAZY!! However...we were freezing slightly damp......and poor Tracy was SOAKED!!! Needless to say, this was our last ride of the day:) Six Flags was insane!!! Seriously, some of the rides there will rock your world. This by FAR was my most favorite themepark. It was so fun to have Tracy and Micah there too!! ****FYI*****Never leave your cell phone in your pocket:) Steve learned this the hard way. On one of the rides, his cell phone slipped out of his zipper pocket, and SHATTERED on the earth below!!! Luckily, he was a good sport about it...and just laughed it off!! 3 other people had lost their cell phone on the same ride!!

My little Tracy love:

Many of you know this little doll. Tracy and I met in Jr. High and it was LOVE at first sight. Tracy and her darling husband Micah live in the San Diego area, and were kind enough to take in two homely strangers for a bit!! THANKS TRACY!!! it was SOOO much fun playing and staying with you!! I LOVE YOU!
Here we are...after hot tubbing. LET IT BE KNOWN....that the GIRLS were to first to jump into the ICE COLD pool!!! The order goes as follows.....Me, Tracy, Micah and Steve. The water was SOOO cold that you felt your lungs freeze!! HOWEVER, this just proves that girls are WAY tougher than boys:)
Tracy and I....splitting an egg. Ohh you should have seen the boys faces when we pulled this little stunt!!! SOOO FUNNY....or at least we think we are:)
Most of my pictures are still on Steve's camera, and I have been too lazy to get them off!! and even more lazy in posting!! SORRY!!! I just had to post a few...to let Tracykins know how much I stinkin love her guts and I am SOOO grateful she let us crash her pad!!! Tell Hallie hi for me:)

Are you Fireproof??

Thanks to my dear friend Brianna's blog, I came across this feel-good movie. She had seen a preview on Dr. Phil about the movie "Fireproof"....with EVERYONES favorite star from Growing Pains, Kirk Cameron. I'm not gonna lie....the acting in this movie makes cheese look good; but the message is incredible. I cried like a fool. It almost felt like a "churchy" movie, with the bad acting and the feel good message. But SERIOUSLY....I thought it was a good movie. The message is simple, clear and something everyone should be reminded of. HOWEVER...like I am one to talk...seeing that I am TOTALLY married and all....hehehehehe.
Please remember....the acting will make you giggle...and remind you of Seminary and Young Womens videos...however, Kirk Cameron will once again melt your Growing Pain heart.
PS....did anyone else notice that this movie is about FIREMEN....my obsession continues:)

Email, blogger, facebook.....(LOSER)

A day in the life of a jobless bum . . . . (Monday-Wednesday)...FYI; I do have an AMAZING/INCREDIBLE/UNBELIVEABLE social life Thrusdays-Sundays...:) I consider myself to be a three-day a week loser.
**********************************
*Wake up....ponder as to why I should even bother getting out of bed.
*Eat breakfast. Shower. Get ready....JUST IN CASE by SOME small chance, if all the stars are lined up correctly....SOMEONE calls me back, and I have an interview.
*Check email, blogger, facebook....my only connections to the outside world.
*Check the mailbox...I love getting mail...esp from CC companies/insurance agents...etc. Hooray.
*Print off more resumes....and hit the road. NO LIE...I am sure I have met with/talked too/dropped off Resumes too....about 25 different places. Ohh the humanity. I am SOOO SICK of job hunting. I have even ventured an HOUR up north...the commute would suck, BUT I AM DESPERATE!!
*Come home from job hunting...feel like an even BIGGER loser than I did before I left.
*Play on the Wii Fit...(gets my aggression out)
*Chase the dog around the house. . . . then she chases me, (are you starting to get jealous??)
*Check email, blogger, facebook again....just in case.
*Eat dinner.
*Talk on the phone.
*Check email, blogger, facebook again....once again...just in case.
*Brush my teeth, wash my face, FLOSS (that's for you MOM)
*Check email, blogger, facebook again....I'm such a loser/stalker:)
*Go to bed. Yawn.
Are you jealous??? Do you wish you were a jobless loser? I can't wait til the weekend. I need a break:)
Do you have an exciting life?? Do you check your email, blogger, facebook as much as I do?? Have you not taken any pictures since Christmas....because your life is SOO not eventful. Entertain me. GIVE me a reason to check my email, blogger, facebook 100 times a day. Even better....for all you out of towners...quit being lazy and make a trip to Utah. Come enjoy the million inches of snow we keep getting. It's a blast.
