Viva Las Vegas/ Lake Mead

Talk about the best trip ever! It was so much fun. Matt and his roommate Jaime bought Wave- runners and needed to head to Vegas to pick them up. Matt picked me up SUPER early wednesday morning and we headed down. He had just gotten off of work, and needed some sleep....we both slept almost the whole way to St. George...It made the drive go by so quick!
We stayed wednesday night at the MGM grand....it was so awesome! We went swimming, and ate like rockstars:) And we didn't gamble! We thought about it though! The weather in Vegas was so beautiful. It was the perfect temperature.
Thursday we woke up bright and early and headed to Lake Mead. We had to test out the new machines:) I love this picture.... we had so much fun! And we only flipped once! The water was so warm and the weather was insane!
This is Alison...we had so much fun gettin to know eachother. It was great having another girl on the trip!
Alison and Jamie...it was so funny, these two couldn't stay on their wave runner. They were always tipping over. I swear they were in the water more than they were on their machines!
And the two grand champion wave runners are....Linds and Matt! Matt was crazy enough to let me drive....poor guy, he had no idea what he was gettin himself into:) I almost lost him once.....but he held on!
What is this? Luckily I worked my sweetness and got these boys out of citation....well actually I don't think all my bend and snaping did anything; but the cop was cool. Because they just bought them, naturally they didn't have time to register them in the state of Utah, cause we were in Nevada....dah. He was pretty cool about it. And we are off....a quick trip down, and a long trip home! Those suckers weighed/and slowed us down:)
Poor sleepy little guy! Actually this picture was taken right after I woke up. Thank goodness....I hate pictures of me sleeping!
This picture cracks me up! Matt's eyes are so bloodshot:) We were so tired and beat up, but it was so worth it! However I am feeling it today! We came back to the rain and cooler weather....I am so ready to go back:)

NYC Monday-Wednesday

Ok...you win....That last post was a wig! There were wig shops everywhere....and we sure had fun modeling! No worries, I am still a little blondie:) I must admit, I didn't think that many people still looked at my blog! In one day I got quite the rise:) I better be careful what I post!! j/k. So here is my much anticipated NYC trip. It was incredible. There was 37 of us that went (students and teachers) It was truely amazing! Here is a quite peak at the 512 + pictures I took. My camera never left my hand:)
Monday was mainly a travel day. We got to our hotel at 7:00pm and then headed out of a late night tour of the city. We walked everywhere! our hotel was in the flower district, right by the Empire State bldg. I must admit, I hate looking like a tourist, but that is kind of hard when you have 37 people walking together down the street! Darrin (the professor I went to Europe with) lead the pack; and we ended up at his favorite place Serendipity:) just like the movie! We went at had frozen hot chocolate...it was delicious but HUGE! The three other girls you see in this picture are who I spent most of my time with. Kaari (in the green) and I were attached at the hip in Europe and Arielle and Emily where my two adorable roommates on the trip!
TUESDAY.....TUESDAY....TUESDAY......TUESDAY......
Nothing is more amazing in this world than Central Park....It was incredible! I could of spent all day! My dream came true, I took a nap, in the sun at Central Park. I can die a happy woman now! The park was so green and the flowers and trees were amazing! Here is Emily, Me and Kaari right after our nap:) Arielle wouldn't wake up for the picture!
Amazing I tell you....Amazing!
Kaari and I after basking in the rays....:)
Met Muesum....
My new boyfriend.... look at those glasses! Ohh what a hottie!
Kaari and I quickly got bored...I think I got all museumed out in Europe and after 1.5 hours in here...I had to take some pictures. I love this shot...I felt so artistic! Kaari is on the left and I am the one turning my head in wonder and amazement on the right:)
Many of you know that my nick name all through USU was Pony....so this picture was taken esp. for April, Linds, and Ashley....there you go girls!
WEDNESDAY....WEDNESDAY.....WEDNESDAY......WEDNESDAY
Today was our designer day. We had to be dressed up, and weren't able to take as many pictures. Utah State has become widely known for their interior design dept. and has connections all over the place. Today we were able to go to Jamie Drakes design office, Charolette Moss' design showcase, and the Kips Bay showhouse (basically Parade of Homes on steroids). Kips Bay was my favorite!
Here is Emily and I, right before I cut off my own foot...I am not kidding you...I was tempted. I wore way nice boots with my outfit, and normally my feet are fine, however they were so tired from the day before....oh boy where they sore!
The subway was our main source of travel, besides my two legs....I must admit the Tube in London was much easier to get around....The subway wasn't too hard, I am just so glad that I was already used to it from The Tube and The Met (in Paris)
Ohh the best part of this picture is as we were racing down to catch the Subway and an old man approached us and asked if we were the Spice Girls.... and then a little while later, I over heard a man telling his buddies that we were models that he had seen on TV....basically we stuck out like sore thumbs in NYC...we were all dressed way nice, had all of our teeth and they were white!
Here we are on our way up the Empire State Bldg....as were were headed up, the hot guy collecting our tickets decided to hold me back and ask me out....I gratefully declined and be-lined it up the line....he was yelling for me to come back! I was flattered, however he was forceful! I am no dummy:)
Here is the view....it was so incredibly windy as you will see in the following pictures....it was beautiful!
The other "Spice Girls" met some guys from Holland at the top and left to go out with them for the night...they had a fourth guy for me, I gratefully declined, again:) I met up with Steve (my professor) and his two sons and two other girls from my group....I chilled with these guys for the rest of the night....I had a BLAST with these boys!
Steve is seriously one of the most amazing professors I have ever had. He was more like a dad/friend then a teacher...he is AMAZING! I loved spending time with him on this trip. I have honestly never met such an incredible teacher!! He actually just recieved Teacher of the Year at Utah State....way to go Steve! (Don't you love how windy it is....) After the Empire State we went and grabbed some Sushi....I just had a sprite...:)

NYC Thursday- Saturday

Thursday was amazing! Here I am on the ferry ride over to Ms. Liberty. . . it was so much fun, and slightly windy:)
They had such intense security. We got checked on the main land and then had to wait in a forever long line to get checked again....INTENSE! The security people got really mad at me for having a water bottle....oh such drama!
Let me just tell you how much I love my camera! While I was standing around, bored:) in lines I was playing with some functions....this is called selective coloring...where it just picks out the green. I love this picture! I gave my camera to a friend and she caught this pic of Adam and I just chilling! I love it!
Because we hadn't walked enough that day:)....we walked over to Brooklyn Bridge! We were so tired, but had so much fun!
Seriously, could we get any better looking? Erica, Lyns and Christian just struttin our stuff:)
Call me amazing....I have always wanted a sweet taxi shot....and I couldn't of asked for better! This was selective color again.....I LOVE THIS PICTURE!! I just may be famous some day:)
The flat iron bldg has always been my favorite! And the best part is, our hotel was just blocks away! We had dinner at the Shake Shack....you stand in line for about 1.5 hours for the most amazing shake and burger you have ever had. I am not the worlds biggest hamburger fan, but this sucker was incredible.
Today we went to the World Trade Center site....Talk about emotional. They have this tribute center that was incredible. We were all in tears. I took this picture on the ferry ride back from State of Liberty...The skyline shows where the two bldgs would have been.
FRIDAY....FRIDAY....FRIDAY...FRIDAY...FRIDAY........
We were so lucky with weather, until today. It rained pigs and chickens....I love the rain, but seriously Mother Nature and I were in a huge fight this day. This wasn't a light spring sprinkle....i'm talking buckets of stinkin rain came down. I went through two pairs of shoes! And I had an umbrella...and still looked like a drown rat. We went to Hard Rock to drown our sorrows....it was so much fun! Food was super expensive, but this is New York....go big or go home right?

The smile of my face is fake....the wind and the rain...I was beyond mad:) I am having to shield the wind.....grrrr. This was on our way to the MOMA muesum...I am sure any other day I would of loved this place, but I was tired, wet and cold and there was trillions of people inside!
I love this picture....Three drown rats!
SATURDAY....SATURDAY.....SATURDAY......SATURDAY....
The four amigos had to head out for one last quick adventure. We went turbo shopping in the morning and ran over to Shake Shack (again) to grab a quick bite before our shuttle left....I was SOOO not ready to leave!
Here we are waiting for the shuttle ride from hell....I am not kidding you....we all got so car sick from this ride! It was the jerkiest, most horrific ride of my life! I had a picture from inside the shuttle...but I look alittle green! There was 11 of us per van...and 10 of us were so sick!
Needless to say I had an incredible time! I have always had a love and passion for NYC and now I have been there:) My trip was perfect, each day was amazing. And the friendships I made on this trip was incredible! What a perfect end to my Utah State Career! Honestly I am so lucky to have been accepted into the Interior Design program...my teachers are incredible and I have some of the most amazing memories of my 4 years up there!
