Landon's Homecoming

Aren't we sweet....it took like 8 pictures to finally get him to act semi normal. He thinks he is so funny!!
Katie (well half of her face) Malease (my brothers other half) and of course...yours truley.
We all wanted to sit on daddy's lap....poor chair! At least I was smart and got on the top.
Liesl and I...she lived with my family for about a year, a couple years ago....she was unoffically adopted into the family!
My awesome cousin Nikki!! I love her!
Well....my job was to take pictures, and I sucked! I mostly just took them of myself and people I knew...selfish I know. Ohh well! Well today was his homecoming, and he did a fantastic job at speaking! I was in the second to front row, and my brother and I had quite the amazing conversations....we are very talented. I just signed to him, and mouthed words, and he would either sly-lee sign back, nod or use eyes...either way, it was fun! I could tell he was getting a little stressed, so I finally took a big red marker from my purse and wrote RELAX on the back of my program and held it up....I am so sly! It was pretty funny! Well the after party was awesome. We had tons of people there. Some old friends from Seattle, friends from the ward, friends that feels like family and then some family from Evanston, Wy. My cousin came with her little three year old and set of 2 year old twins...it was so fun! And of course it is good to have my brother home! Well....I am off again to HOUSTON!! I leave in a couple hours and will be gone for a week...so you will all have to sit and relax until the world traveler gets home!! I can't sit still!!

Alicia, Lyns and Liz....basically the hottest bowlers there! You've got to love the hot bowling shoes! I should get a pair!
Jake and I....this picture was taken right before I kicked his butt! I beat him by just a couple points....either way I got ICE CREAM!
Kysha and I....taking one of our famous pictures. The group...however I am not quite sure who the guy is on the left. Everyone else....Shad, Liz, Jake, Me, Kysha
Whispering sweet nothings?
I beat him too...I love sweet VICTORY!! Poor Guy!
This weekend, cleary I needed another vacation, so I headed off for Logan. I miss that place so much! I can't wait to move back in a couple of weeks. I was supposed to go up and find a job and place to live...but instead I went to the pool, and bowling....productive I know. It was so fun to go bowling with my boys! I loved beating their little butts though...they are the worst losers!

And she rides again, FINALLY!

We always take a good before picture, that way you can see what everyone used to look like!
It was a little dusty!! He is trying to kill me.... he screams like a little girl!
They were riding in the front fourwheeler...hardly any dust! Grrrrr!!
We look like mario kart racers....sexy ones, that is
The muddy buddy bunch!! we were covered!! ears, nose, head to toe!! I loved it!
I love fourwheeling....and my dad and I try to go as much as possible. However, back in January I gently tipped my fourwheeler over...causing another little concussion, well as many of you know, after my little head injuries I had to get surgery to repair my ear. Well my mother wouldn't let me ride from Jan-April, because of the surgery, and then after the surgery, she didn't want me to ride before I went to Europe....basically I was dying to go! So today Katie, Landon, Dad and I ventured out into the mountians. It felt amazing to ride again! It was really fun because Landon and I team rode....I should tell you that he has been in two rather serious roll overs on these things....well, anyway, I scared the pants off of him!! The more he screamed the faster and crazier I rode! IT WAS AWESOME!! and to top it off we had awesome weather! It was only 90 degrees for most the morning! PERFECT!!

There is no place like....Washington

Bugs eye view of the space needle. JUST MARRIED....for a day!
Views of Lake Sammamish

Just in case you have never seen green before.....amazing isn't it?
I love how bold the colors are in this photo! Breathtaking!!
I love the water!! It was actually warm!

Sunday, after the wedding, Matt and I headed out to Seattle to pick up the bride and grooms car. We drove around downtown Seattle for a while, in our Best Friends car, which was covered in streamers, oreo's and just married logos. We got lots of honks, waves and thumbs up....and of course we totally played it up! Who doesn't want to be married for just a day? On our way back to Sammamish we stopped by East Lake Sammamish Park so that I could put my feet in the water. I love this lake! And we happend to get there right at sunset....the colors were amazing. I could of stayed there forever. I love the green trees against the blue/gray water. It was incredible!! I have decided that I miss the water and green the most, since I have moved to Utah. I do love Utah's mtns., but there is no place like Washington!

I'm coming home

It is still leaning!!
Just doing my part!
I have missed you George!!
Just hanging out waiting for our flight!
Time for a little snooze on the airport floor!!
Trying to stay entertained on the plane!
USA here we come!!
RED WHITE AND BLUE!!! we have missed you!!
Ohh my sweet heavens! Talk about the longest, but a very fun....day!! We left our hotel at 6am in Florence (just to put that in prospective...that was 10pm on the Fourth of July for you fine people) From there we took a train from Florence to Pisa (about an hour and half). I think I slept most of the way, considering that I had only gotten 2 hours the night before) Well we got to Pisa in plenty of time to check in. So Darrin suggested that some of us take a bus to the Leaning Tower. It was a 15 minute ride there, so about 10 of us headed out. I was really so glad that I was able to do that! Who goes to Pisa and doesn't see the famous tower. So we jumped off the bus, took some pictures and jumped right back on. I was so glad that we were able to go. The plane ride from Pisa to JFK in New York was a little over 9 hours long. I tried to sleep alot to get myself adjusted to the new time, but everyone knows how hard it is to sleep on a plane. Well we got to JFK and had 2 hours to get our luggage, go through customs and recheck our luggage again. It was quite stressful...esp when I couldn't find mine. Finally I saw some lady with my suitcase...she had grabbed the wrong one. That was sure a close one! That bag had my clocks!! Well we literally ran through secruity and customs, and sprinted to our plane, only to find that it had been delayed. Needless to say, once we got on our plane we taxied for 3 hours. So we played games, watched a couple of movies and tried to sleep. We finally touched down in SLC at 1:30 am! Overall from the time we left Florence to touch down in SLC it was 27 hours! We all were so excited to be home! I LOVE THE USA!!! well after unpacking, in the garage (I have been eatten alive by some bed bugs or mesquitos....) I finally hit the pillow at 4:30am...and forced myself to sleep. My little internal clock is a little messed up right now!! Ohh well!! Tonight I should sleep like a baby!! Overall...it was an amazing experince!! And I can't wait to start scrapbooking it all!!
