Almost a decade later....

The last time my dad and all his brothers were together, was at my grandma Davis' funeral in 1999. This was also the last time I saw most of my cousins and a couple of my uncles. So this year for Easter, all my dad's brothers were able to be in town and we all met up in Wyoming at my Grandpa's House. I love my Grandpa! He is so funny.... It was so great to watch him, as he looked around at all of his family. I know he was touched that we were all there, to celebrate being a family.

My dad is the middle of 5 boys; all boys were there, however my uncle Craig was unable to be in the picture. Oldest to Youngest and left to right...Mike, Craig (piece of wood with red hat), Ron (my dad), Grandpa, Todd and Brett

My Uncle Brett came out from Oregon and is a huge fisherman...he made quite the feast of seafood for our Easter Brunch....I am not a seafood lover...and the three of us sisters were forced to choke down Oyster. It was alive only moments before I ate it....Needless to say, I felt like I was on fear factor....This was not my most enjoyable experince....

This is my sweet cousin Amanda who I haven't seen or talked to in 9 years...she is darling! We are both taking it upon ourselves to increase our family get-to-gethers...she is so fun!

This darling girl is my cousins wife Chelsey ....she is awesome! We have become quite close over the years...I just adore her! I am going out to spend a couple days with her next month...I can't wait!

Here is almost all the cousins. We are missing 4 cousins and then their families....but for the most
part everyone made it up! All together on my dad's side I have 11 cousins, that is before the step cousins and so forth...

And then of course a sweet little picture of my little family...aww tender..:) I must admit, the car ride up was quite the experince. All of us smooshed into my parents van, it was close, but it was tender. We laughed most of the way up. As kids, my parents created "landmarks" on the ride through Ogden Canyon and up to Grandpa's house. It was very fun to "revisit" those sites...such as "Stick holding up the Mtn", "dead cow corner", "Truck in the Mtns", and "witches house" and "3 sisters" to name a few.

It was a very fun day. We left sunday morning and drove for about 2.5 hours and visited for most of the afternoon. It was so great to see everyone and catch up! Hope you all had as fantastic of an Easter as I did!!

Spring Break 2008 SEATTLE

My trip to Seattle was incredible!! It was so fun and even productive! The best part was, I got to see alot of people that I haven't seen in YEARS!! However, there was one HUGE downfall to my trip....Lori Johnson was out of town, for the ENTIRE time I was there....Please have a moment of silence.....(moment)....I was so so so sad I missed her....Oh well, I guess I have to go again soon:) Here are some of my highlights of my trip.....
This is my roommate....she is 31/2 and DARLING!! She has the biggest blue eyes and the curliest blonde hair! Molly and I had a great time!

Everytime I come home, I have to go to Pikes....here is Molly, Kim and I enjoying a quick and rather healthy lunch at Pikes....these donuts I believe actully help you lose weight....hmmm we shall see:)
Here is Baerbel and I at our sleepover...(this is Sabrina's Mom for all you non plateau princesses out there) We watched "The Holiday"and enjoyed candy from Germany....this is the only time in my life where I wasn't "Proud to be an American"....German Chocolate is to DIE FOR!!! It was very fun to play, just the two of us!
Some of you out there may remember this sweet face.....LINDSAY WALLACE!! We have been friends since Junior High, and I just love her! I saw her a couple years ago when she came out to Utah....I just adore her:) Ohh she is engaged...getting married May 2, 2009! The three of us went out for Breakfast...my pancake was the size of my plate!
This Jen and Amanda Klos....I think Stef and Linda might be the only two that may remember these faces....they were my neighboors in elementary school. We lost contact over the years, but found eachother yet again. I spent the day laughing and reminising with Jen (green stripped shirt) and Amanda and their parents. Ohh sweet memories:)
This is my sweet baby brother Alex....he is my brother from another Mother....This is my brother's best friend, and our family has tried to adopt him for years. I adore this Kid!!

I got to see some old faces and meet some new:) This is Stockton Hemming....Brandon and I have been best friends since 4th grade and it just so happened that his sweet wife Markey went into labor a couple weeks early...I was thrilled cause I got to meet little Stockon the day after he was born!
Some of you may recongize this sweet face.....HOLLY!! For more fun pictures check out Holly's blog...we went out to lunch and seriously giggled like school girls! It had been years since I had seen this sweet face:) We even dressed alike....black and white with RED SHOES!! Twins:) We went to Red Robin for Old Times Sake....It was awesome!! I love you Holly!!
Kim, ever so lovingly put up with my sweet and adorable face for a whole week. Being that "our" mother Lori was out of town, Kim took me in as her own. Please make note that Kim is one of the best cooks you will ever meet, and she fed me like a Queen, and I ate like a PIG:) Kim and I are on the phone every day with eachother, so seeing eachother every day, gave my cell phone a good and much needed rest:) Thanks again Kim for letting me stay at Hotel Kim:) I had a great time! It was so sad to say goodbye!! But I will see you soon!! Love you!

My trip was awesome!! I had so much fun and it was great to get away! I love spring break, however it is really hard to focus afterwards....only 6 weeks left of school!! Hooray!! It was so fun seeing so many of you while I was home! Miss you all already; and I miss those of you who should have been home, but weren't.....MOST OF THE PEOPLE READING THIS...you should feel ashamed:) I thought about each and everyone of my Seattle-ittes....

The Glorified Clowns

Here is my group of Glorified Clowns. Currently I am working as a photographer for a childrens photo studio, and I bounce around and act like a clown all day long:) These are my friends/assocites that I work with. I truely would have quit months ago if it weren't for my friendships here! We have the crapiest job, but the best time doing it.

Now, this goes out to all you mothers, soon to be mothers, grandmothers, aunts etc....please oh please have a heart and listen to what I am going to tell you....As a CHILDRENS PHOTOGRAPHER, please understand that I am somewhat experinced in what I am about to say. You may have the happiest child in the world, miles of smiles...BUT that doesn't mean as soon as you place them on a posing board, have some hot clown bouncing around and have bright flashes go off, that they will smile the same as they do at home.

We are trained...trust me, your child is no different than anyother snotty nosed, germy hand, child that comes through our doors. ALL KIDS ARE THE SAME, in this respect! I will do my best, I will love your little monster as if they were my own....HOWEVER show a little respect for the trained clown and let us do our jobs! You child may not smile for all or any pictures! SO WHAT! we are there to capture....what we can get!

So basically what I am trying to say... is I LOVE CHILDREN! i just despise the mothers that come with them! Please go easy on your photographer...DON'T YELL AT US! We are trying! My favorite mother comment is..."That is his Ugly smile".... I have always wanted to say..."I am doing the best I can, with what I have to work with....", but I don't. I just smile and retake the picture....:)
I'm off the soap box now....I have stepped down. I only have 8 more weeks to act like a clown, then I am busting out of my clown suit and on to bigger and better acts! The count down begins:)
