RIP stupid Computer. I hate you.

Ohh people. My computer is pure junk. I am so sorry. I have decided to either take it out back and beat it, or come to my parents every once in a while and post. I HATE not posting. This is my journal!! We are alive...my computer may not be, but we are here. We are currently taking donations for a new computer:) hehehehe. Just kidding. Stupid thing. I never knew how much I loved it, until I wanted to run it over with my car or take it for target practice. Lame. Meanwhile...Dyl is still the cutest thing ever. 9 months and too happy to care to crawl. He could sit all day on his little bum and play with toys and books. HOWEVER, yesterday he ventured onto all fours. He got up...looked around and then laid back down:) He is a little charmer and wins everyone over with his gummy grin and baby blues. We have a tiny little tooth popping through on the bottom....tiny. And he has been a champ:) Pictures of my love bug coming soon.

Halloween 2011

There are TWO holidays in which I tend to go...OVER THE TOP with decor. Halloween and Christmas. I LOVE my halloween decorations:) My 5 foot skeleton "Mrs. Bones" is my favorite. Last year, it was Mr Bones...the poor dear has gender confussion:)

These pumpkins are my FAVORITE! Bought them a few years ago...and I LOVE THEM!
This year we went as a "ZOO" family. Brian was the Zoo Keeper, I was a HOT tiger and Dyl was a little monkey...fully equipt with those delicious CHEEKS! I love those cheeks!
Ahhh...Mrs Bones, you sexy beast you. Isn't she to DIE FOR?
My witch legs are new this year:) My loving husband NEVER even complained that they were coming out of the TV. I thought for sure i'd have to move them.
My Monkey. Do you see the chub on the arms?? LOVE IT!
Happy Halloween.
Stay tuned...we had a KILLER family Halloween Party. Pictures coming. (ahem...Katie)

Seattle, Sept 2011

Thanks to BECKY...my blog may be up and running again:) A while back I dropped my laptop...and busted my power cord. Since then....life with our gimpy laptop is rough, but we are surviving:) Hopefully we can get some posts going!
IN SEPTEMBER, we were able to take a LAST minute QUICK trip to Seattle. When I say last minute...literally, I mean we planned and took off within days. Brians parents (Lori Johnson's brother is Brian's dad) were going to be in Seattle the same weekend...so we took a quick trip up to see Lori and Kim. In advance, I am so sorry to all those we couldn't see. It was a speedy trip...but we are trying to head back next summer.
Dyl and I flew up a few days before Brian. We stayed with Kim and her girls LOVED Dyl! It was so much fun learning how to cook from the master. Seriously people, SHE IS AMAZING. I ate like a queen.

Matt and Kim took us boating on Lake Washington. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!! Seriously, we were hot! The weather, the whole week I was there, was breathtaking. IN SEPTEMBER:) Amazing. We took the boat  over to the staduim and listened to the football game. It was incredible when the crowd cheered...the echo'd throughout the area. So fun.
Dyl bugs loved all the attention from the ladies. Here is Jane and Lucy sharing a nap:)
After I picked up Bri from the Airport we went to Madison Park and had breakfast on the water. Dyl loved the sand:) We loved the view. Breathtaking! The Madison Park Bakery was fabulous too.
I LOVE Pikes Place Market. We had our Bridals taken here exactally two years before:) But last time I PROMISED Brian a donut...and they closed before we got there....so we came back, and he ate like a king:)
We went to the Mariners Game. (They lost) but we had a great time. Dyl got a stuffed Moose and a certificate saying that it was his first game:) So fun!
Madison Park (sorry, out of order, but I can't change it now:)

On our way home. QUICK TRIP, but SOOO WORTH IT! Thanks to Lori and Kim for showing us a good time:) It was so wonderful to be back "home". Dylan did great...and slept on the plane both ways! Hooray!!
To all we missed...catch ya next time...hopefully in July:)

The BEST 2 YEARS!!

Two years ago, today I married this Handsome fella. Honestly....he's quite the FOX!

We were sealed in the Timpanogos Temple, October 16, 2009.

It was a BEAUTIFUL day!! Not a cloud in the sky. 70 degrees. It was like the Heavens were rejoicing that the two of us FINALLY found eachother, and got married:)

LOVE the coloring in this picture!

The day was perfect! Nothing that I would change:)

It's crazy to think that this was only TWO YEARS AGO!!! Now I'm a wife, and a momma:) I am one lucky girl.

Not to get all mushy gushy...but it's MY anniversary. So...I'm gonna add a little gush and mush:)

10 things I love about my Honey:) (there are so many more, but let's be real. You people only want to read about 10)

1. I love how you STILL make me laugh everyday. You and your shenanigans:)

2. I love that you love to snuggle:) All night!! I am one lucky girl!

3. I love your sweet tooth! We sure love our chocolate!

4. I love how much you love our son. He adores you. I hope he grows up to be JUST LIKE YOU!

5. I know I tease you about this...but I think it is so cute, how much you love sports. I feel like ESPN is a huge part of our lives.

6. I love that you love my family. I love how you treat my parents like they were your own. Most days...I am sure they'd trade you for me...STRAIGHT UP! You are just like my dad. I LOVE that.

7. I love your strong testimony and your love for the Lord; your deep respect for women, and your love of family.

8. I love your cooking. I am SOOO lucky to have a man that loves to cook!!

9. I love checking you out. :) and I do it... alot.

10. I love that you are totally stuck with me for eternity. Sucker:) What'd you sign up for??

Peaches

My little Dyl-bug is getting SOO BIG! He is loving all the "semi-solid" food he is getting. However, he has made it VERY clear, that sweet potatoes...are not for him:) My friend Stefanie gave us the greatest contraption... it is this mesh thing that you put food into, so the little kiddos can just suck it out. Tonight, I took Dyl outside and we tried peaches inside... I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story:)

I LOVE this little grin!!

Do you see the juicy drool on his little chin:)

YUMMY!! I love those chubby fingers and arms

He sucked on this thing like a binki:)

One happy boy:) I love my little bug!

Can you believe that on friday he will be 6 months old??

Midge turns 18!

My baby sister turned the big 18 today. I can't believe she is THAT OLD! There is 10 1/2 years between us...so I remember the day she was born...VERY WELL:) I remember being SO excited that it was a little girl. I remember going to the hospital and seeing her, shortly after she was born. Honestly...I remember thinking how weird looking she was:) (like ALL newborns) but then the next day, I couldn't put her down. She was SOOO beautiful, and small. From the day she came home...I have always called her "Midge". It feels weird to call her Carly, for that is not her name (to me). The BEST part is...I am the only one that can call her Midge. Other's have tried...(Kylee) and have been shot down. She is my Midge.
This will mean nothing to most people as they read this...so Midge, this one is for you. Here are 18 fun and fantastic memories, that I have of you:)
Please note, the pictures have NOTHING to do with these memories...just wanted you to see my beautiful sister.

1. My ALL TIME FAVORITE...."The Note". Midge is the MOST gullible person, on the planet and takes countless beatings from her loving older siblings. THE BEST is the story of the NOTE. A few years back (within the past 7) we convinced Midge that while I was in my mothers womb...I etched a note on the inside of her uterus. Landon and Katie both admitted to reading this special note...Midge however...Started BAWLING...."I DIDN'T GET THE NOTE". Poor thing. She really believed that she had missed out on some special information from "the NOTE:)"

2. Carly is a SUPER hypocondric (and I KNOW she is sitting her correcting my spelling). We have convinced her that she has cancer, SIDS, paralysis and other such life altering diseases and illness....She wasn't allowed to watch shows like ER growing up...because she would come down with EVERY symptom. Poor thing:)

3. Carl (another loving nickname) is a PRO at the trampoline. Seriously, this girl can move. A few years back, her summer goal was to teach me to do a front flip. She was a great coach...and I landed it ONCE. Every other time, I would flip and cut short and fall back. She was SOO determined. She has tried this year to get me to try again...what she doesn't realize is after you have a baby..the trampoline is no longer a friend.

4. Midge was the BEST servant growing up. While we had friends over, she LOVED to come down and bring us trays of water, popcorn and other such goodies, per our request. She would go all out...straws, napkins, take orders...etc. Then she grew up and realized that we were just using her. Ohh the good ole days.

5. Carly is the FUNNIEST person I know. She doesn't even realize HOW funny she is. She is so innocent and has grown up around all these older siblings...who tease her til no end. The questions she has asked over the years (esp Sunday dinners) have made my mother blush and the rest of us burst into laughter....ahh the good ole "SEX" talks on Sunday nights. My favorite:)

6. THE OX. This girl is stronger than most guys! Seriously, she can lift. You wouldn't guess by looking at her cute little body...but she is one tough cookie. (She had to be, to survive all the beatings.)

7. Speaking of beatings....last year, she was "frustrated" because we all pick on her so much. She claims that: Brian beats her physically, Cory beats her Mentally and Landon beats her both physically and mentally. Ahh...we do love to pick on that girl!

8. STRANGE PEOPLE SIT AND TALK. Say no more. I bet Carly is BEET RED reading this:)

9. She is one of the MOST creative writters...Seriously, I hope she writes some day for something...she is a riot!

10. Carly is a friend to any and everyone. She is so much fun to hang out with. I remember in college when we would have parties at my parents house...she was the life of the party!! She is witty, funny and a HOOT!! I seriously struggle with the idea of her moving away to college next year...who will I go "home" and play with?

11. This girl has got STYLE. She can pull things off...that NO ONE ELSE can. Seriously, the outfits she comes up with, are DARLING on her. She has her own sense of style and I LOVE it. I wish I was that cute:)

12. Hi Mom. I got Stabbed.

13. A while back...Katie and I convinced her that she used to do this crazy walk....poor thing...really believed us, for a while. :)

14. Massages...oh the Massages....she used to give them for SOO cheap. I miss how much you could buy with a quarter:)

15. Walt Disney World 1995, Victoria 1993....oh the trips we used to take "without her". Hehehe...sorry Midge. I had to bring that up:) (She is a little sensitive about the things we did, before she was born, or while she was too little to go:)

16. While we were in Hawaii....2001 Carly was 7 and was having a hard time getting "the damn door to open"....we all about died when she swore. Seriously, I think Landon and I about wet our pants we were laughing so hard.

17. While I was in labor, Carly's job was to be my "Water Girl". I would give a signal, and that girl was RIGHT THERE with my cup of water. She's the best aunt to my little Dyl.

18. Carly, this one is just for you. Remember when we were in the bathroom, while camping...and it got "awkwardly quiet".... :) (I just about fell off my chair laughing while I was writting this. AWKWARD!!

I love you SOOO MUCH. Thanks for being my little sis and putting up with ALL MY CRAP...(I said Crap, just for mom. Crap. Crap. Crap.) You keep me laughing and smiling. You are more amazing then you will ever know and I am SOO grateful you are my sister! Happy 18!!!

Brace yourself World....Carly is an adult.

I love you.

Alpine Days Parade

Many of you know that Brian and my brother Landon work together. They have WAY to much fun together. This year their company was in the Alpine Days Parade. Landon was in charge of the float...he did SUCH an amazing job designing it...don't you think?

You may notice, right above the metals..is my sister Carly:) Landon is driving the truck...and Brian is on the float too....Can you find him?

HOORAY!!! You found him!! Check out my hottie husband:) Somehow Landon convinced Brian to be Biotic Man:)

Here is Dyl and my parents watching the parade. He did GREAT! I thought the sirens and guns would scare him....he was such a sport!

But finally he couldn't take the excitement anymore and crashed on Grandma's shoulder....

Highland's CUTEST BABY!

On Saturday, Dylan won Highland's cutest baby contest! My mom entered Dylan, Koda and Kaleb in the contest...because they had some sweet prizes:) They had 4 age categories...and a boy and girl winner for each.
The best part was...each of them won for their age bracket!
Dylan won the 0-6 month
Kaleb won the 15-24 month
Koda won the 24-36 month

It was SOO fun!! They took their pictures and then spent some time with the judges. Then we all sat and waited for the judges to make their decisions.
I am sure people were wondering why our row kept winning...needless to say, we have Highlands CUTEST kids!!
Dylan's hat was a HIT!
Kaleb winked at the judges as he walked away
Koda was a gem and won them over with her charm...(she also signed "I love you" to the judges)

Along with the BIG gift basket we got from winning, MaLese and I each won 2 raffle prizes!! I won a gym membership for a month (much needed according to the last post:) and we also won a fisher price basketball hoop. MaLese won a big wheel bike for Koda and a doodle set for Kaleb! With all the goods from the gift basket...we easily each won about $100.00 bucks worth of diapers, toys, bottles, books, gift cards, free food...etc. We cleaned house!

Can you believe these THIGHS?? All the sudden, he is Chunkin up!!

I think teeth are right around the corner...check out all the drool!!
This outfit makes his blue eyes...ELECTRIC!

Do you see those cheeks?? Check out the Michelin Man arms!! I LOVE IT!

Being a Male Model is hard work...he was so tired from all the fame and glam:)

Here are three of Highlands CUTEST kids!!

Can you believe how fast those kids are growing?

Within the next 5 weeks...those kids are going to have another sibling!! I can't wait!!

Also....I must add....My Grandpa Woodlief won first place in a baby contest when he was young too....Good genes run in the family!!

The question was asked....

Ewe. People just need to keep their skinny mouths shut:) The question was finally asked today. Tragic that it had to come on a "skinny day". (Skinny meaning...I didn't cry when I got dressed this morning). Did it hurt worse because it came from some skinny little brat...(who by the way was WAY too old to be dressing like that). She caught me off guard. It would have been one thing if we were having a conversation and she poped "the question". But to ask me as I am slowly walking by...harsh lady, harsh.

(Picture this coming from a 40 year old skinny woman dressed like a 18 year old *%@. Never mind. I am not sure who is reading this:)

"So...how far along are you?"

Die.

FIRST Trip to the "Barber Shop"!!

Ever since my little stud was born, he has had a KILLER mullet in the back. KILLER. Last weekend we went to Dylan's first Rodeo, and I decided it was time to get it cut. He fit right in. Seriously, his little tail was LONG! My sister Katie is a hair stylist and has salon at her house...Dylan was THRILLED to go to Aunt Katie's Salon:)

He did AWESOME. Didn't cry once. He was such a little cheese ball:) He was smiling and chatting the whole time.

Clearly he got a little too excited. Here comes DINNER! (Again, sorry Katie)

Here is my little stud:) He's getting SOOO big!! Thanks Auntie Fe for the haircut! Dyl loves his "new look".

Personally, this is always my favorite part of getting my haircut:)

Dylan 4 1/2 months old. FIRST HAIRCUT!
