The Kiddies run loose at Gateway Mall

Today my KK girls and I got together for one last reunion before Becky moves to San Antiono, TX. We met up at Gateway in SLC and had a BLAST! The six of us worked together this last school year at Kiddie Kandids and hated our jobs...but loved eachother. We are so close...I LOVE it! However, nothing good can come from 6 photographers, fully armed with cameras:) I have a small confession....I actually found some chick at the mall and paid her money to take a couple pictures of the six of us. How pathetic am I? It was totally worth it! We had lunch at California Pizza kitchen, and sat under umbrellas for 5 hours....trying to avoid the rain storm!

One of my FAVORITE shots!
We should be on a CD cover:)

Brianna's little 6 week old came along for the ride. Savannah Lynne (Bri told me she named her after me...Linds/Lynne...I bought it)

We are such little posers:)

It is a rare occassion that you can find 6 totally different girls and form such an amazing relationship in just a few short months! I love my girls!

Remember when. . .

Okay this little post has been going around and I love the concept so here it goes...1

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.

If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Now remember...payback is a beast:) j/k....have at it. I deserve it.

A Family that Showers Together, Stays Together

For the 4th of July weekend my family went on a three day camping trip in Mayfield Canyon (Down past Gunnison). We took our toyhauler and fourwheelers and had a FANTASTIC time!

Thrusday: We set up camp, went on a ride and played games. For those who are new to camping terminology. . A toyhauler, hauls your toys:) and then turns into a sleeper cabin with three beds, a full bathroom and kitchen. My parents, Katie and I slept in the ToyHauler and Landon, MaLese and Carly slept in the tent.

Don't you love the close quarters....??? we were squished, but happy:)

Friday:Today MaLese and my Mom went into town to get some water and twizzlers and the rest of us went on an AWESOME ride. MaLese is pregnant and therefore shouldn't be on any extreme rides...so this is why we left them. Our ride was awesome! We were gone for 4 hours and even rode down an old mud slide. . . check out our trail:) we had to clear away a whole tree!!

Don't you love Katie and Landon's faces? As you can tell, they were in the back!!
So after our DIRTY DIRTY ride...we had a family shower (hence the tittle)

At night we roasted weinees and mellows and enjoyed time by the campfire:)

Saturday: After we cleaned up camp, we went on one last ride. It was very pretty...besides the dead rotting deer we passed:)

We had a great time. . . filled with dirt, charging cows, fourwheeling, twizzlers, hot dogs and little to no sleep:)

The Babysitters Club

I am home! I was up in Seattle last month as a Nanny for the Fairbanks family. I watched their little 7 year old girl Hannah. Lori Johnson and I tagged team our babysitting efforts; she watched her 3 year old granddaughter Molly and I watched Molly's "aunt" Hannah. Matt and Kim Fairbanks were traveling in Spain for two weeks; and the Fairbanks family was moving. Lori and I had a blast. For those of you who don't know. . . Lori was my young womens leader growing up and I love her so much! We had a great time together...laughing, wanting to cry, playing scrabble until wee hours of the morning and eating Sugar Babies and Junior Mints. Here are some pictures of my journey this past three weeks. . .
While I was at church, I ran into these familiar faces; Mat, Dani and James Williams!
One day Lori and I ventured out to the Woodland Park Zoo. Don't you love Molly's face? PS Linda, we took this picture by the elephants for you:)

I love this picture of Molly talking to the Snakes
All I can say is....SPOILIED:) But thats our job!
I love this picture! Lori and I were in the other room talking and left the girls alone for a bit watching a movie. I came back to find both girls in just their underwear tieing themselves together! we have clearly lost control:)

For the second part of my trip, Lori and I took the girls to Central Washington to play at Lake Chelan. The Fairbanks have a house out there, right on the lake. We had SOOO much fun. Lori and I both had a goal to soak up as much sun as possible. We wore our swimming suits for a week solid.

We were in the lake everyday. It was slightly chilly at times, but totally worth it!

I LOVE this picture of our little "angels" helping us cook. They helped us make Lori's famous chocolate chip cookies!
And the Babysitters are off:) We tried to float away. . . the dang current kept bringing us back!
Here is my little Hannah Banana:) We had a great time together.

I love this picture of Molly. She was so tired from playing in the lake all day.
Towards the end of the week, Lori's husband Rick came up. I just happened to sneak this little picture of these crazy love birds!
Lori and I. . . basically cooked:) We seriously were in the sun everyday, all day! We both got quite the cute little tan.
After we returned the children, in one piece, back to their rightfull owners; Lori and I headed out for Lunch, Pedicures and Manicures. We DESERVED IT!
While I was "home" I was able to see a couple familiar faces. There are many of you who I missed this trip, and I am soo sorry!! It was just so crazy! Next time:)
Sabrina and I got to see eachother for 30 glorious minutes at about 10:30pm one night. It was short, but totally worth it!
And the day I flew out, was the day Kylee flew in from Colorado; I ran over and saw her for about 45 minutes before my plane left! I am so glad it worked out:)
It was a very fun trip, and very long! I truely couldn't of done this without Lori. We make a great babysitting team! I love you Lori and thanks for playing with me! I will never forget our 7 days of scrabble, our candy/icee runs, searching for dead bodies in the lake, our amazing jet skiing and all of our laughs! I love you!

Peace Out

Dear Friends, Family, Lovers, Stalkers and Perverts;
I am alive. About 1 hour ago my plane landed safely in the SLC area. I am home. HOWEVER, in 8 hours I am yet again departing until Sunday. Do not fret...and get excited. There are some killer pictures on their way documenting my crazy life. I have recieved some rather threatening emails and text messages lately about my lack of blogging...you know who you are...and I apologize. Soon my dear friends you will have your grimy little hands all over my life again. For now I am off...I need to unpack, repack, shower, use the ladies room, pet my dog and brush my teeth all before my dear sweet father wakes me up in 7 beautiful hours. I hope you all have a splendid 4th of July and catch ya on the flip side:)
With love, appreciation and bags under my eyes
Lyns
