Like Father, Like Daughter:) Don't you love our matching beards?

Early this morning....EARLY....my Dad, a couple of his buddies and I headed up Mineral Basin (on the back part of Snow Bird). It was a rough ride....rough as in ROCKS!! We were climbing up small boulders and other such sweet goodness to get to the top. Talk about intense. There was one part where I got high centered on a huge rock! It took 3 guys and my huge muscles to get off this beast:) It was DUSTY, as you can tell by our matching beards...but totally worth it! Ohh and the 2nd most exciting part....I ALMOST hit Bambi's cousin with my 4 wheeler....I seriously almost wet myself. Graffic I realize, but it was quite intense. That little buggar came flying off the mtn and jump RIGHT infront of me. Seriously, I think part of my innards are back on the trail. Good thing I have cat-like reflexes:)

The Baby's Birthday

On Monday, my little BABY sister, Carly celebrated her 15th birthday.....can you believe she's so old??? I have called Carly "Midge" ever since she came home from the Hospital. And let me tell ya...she is no longer a midge. Soon my baby sister will be looking down on me! She is growing like a weed!!
For her birthday, her cute little girl-friends decorated her room with balloons and streamers...EVERYWHERE:) After the little party, I took them outside for a fun little photoshoot. Carly is always talking about needing more pictures of her friends. They had a blast coming up with different poses and ideas; this made me want to be 15 again. They were so cute!

Georgia Devastion- Browne Family

Many of you know Dave and Linda Browne (Stefanie's Parents). Last night, due to the tropical storm FAY their house has been destroyed. We have been recieving updates from them as the strom continues, and as of now, their house is a total loss. The water is between knee to waist deep and has flooded their entire house. They were able to get out pictures and other important documents, however all their furniture and other sorts is gone. To get to their house, they have to take a boat, because the water is above the chest in most parts. Please keep them in your prayers. Stefanie and Danny's house is fine, just ALOT of rain. An Animal Reunion / Farewell

Here's the story. . . .
A long time ago....shortly after the dinosaurs roamed the earth.... Lindsey and Annie (The two on the left) met April and Lindsey (the two on the right). Lindsey and April were sisters, who were kind enough to give housing to Lindsey and Annie....little strays. The four of us instantly bonded and had the best year of our lives together. However, as you can imagine...two Lindseys got confussing. In our group...we also had two Jakes. Once again.....CONFUSSING!! Somehow.....(it's a really long story) animal nicknames starting forming.....
I got the blessed nickname of Pony. I love it. It is really funny....because about two years ago, I found out that some people really thought my name was Pony. One kid had been hanging around us for almost a year, and never knew my real name. It is so funny how nicknames stick!

Themepark Weekend

This post is a little late...and for that I am ashamed :) This is from JULY....I know. My face is hidden in shame. Forgive me.
My amazing little Ashley came down and played with me one weekend. Clearly, our goal was to hit every themepark in Utah. We went to 7 Peaks Thursday and Lagoon Friday. For all you Washington people out there....you will notice a familiar face. My little sister Carly's best friend TAYLOR ROMERO was visiting from CALI! She is so grown up!

I have a confession. . .

While many of you out there are drooling over vampires and other such "twilight" goodness...I am drooling over Jail Birds.

That is correct, Season Three of PRISON BREAK was released on DVD yesterday (Aug. 12)...and my life hasn't been the same.
I don't want to sound obsessed....I don't want to look insane, however.....I have a confession.

Tuesday Aug 12:
Wake Up, Shower, Eat Breakfast...blah blah blah
4:00 pm Go to Blockbuster. Rent disc 1
Watch it
8:00 pm Go to Hollywood. Rent disc 2
Watch it
Wednesday Aug 13
3:30am....sleep.
Wake up.
4:00 Return Disc 1 to Blockbuster
4:15 Return Disc 2 to Hollywood. Look for disc three. Cry. Swear. Threaten store employees. Leave.
4:40 Arrive at Family Video. Rent Disc 3. Repent for Swearing earlier.
Watch Disc 3. Eat dinner? Who knows. No time.
9:45 pm Run like the devil is chasing me down to Hollywood video before they close.
Catch my breath...Rent Disc Four/Season Finale
10:22pm Pace around kitchen while my dinner heats in microwave.
10:45 pm...watch season finale.

Yes folks...you read that right. For two days, I did NOTHING but eat/sleep/dream/drool over Prison Break. Am I ashamed? No. Would I do it again. Yes. Should I go to bed now....maybe.

Season 4 starts September 1.
The anticipation is killing me. Monday nights from September 1 - on...I am busy.

Park City Girls Weekend

This past weekend, the fearless foursome got together again. The four of us went to High School together and have stayed best friends ever since. We try to get together at least once a year...whether it be at weddings or girls weekends. This weekend Tracy left her husband and cat back in Cali and Sabrina left her husband and two kiddos back in Houston and met up with Jessica and I for an AWESOME weekend.

We stayed the first night at Jessica's house in Farmington and then friday - sunday we stayed up in Park City, UT. We went to down town Park City and had a blast! Jessica does such an amazing job! People were walking by, laughing and commenting as we posed like movie stars. It was so fun!!

However....we did do a little more than just pretend to be rich and famous:) Here we are trespassing:) Ohh the things we'll do for a great picture!

We shopped, ate like kings, laughed until we cried and acted like we were 18 all over again:) It was SOO much fun. We also went and saw Mamma Mia...and we HIGHLY reccommend it!! WE LOVE IT!

Thanks girls for coming and playing with me! I can't wait for our next BIG trip! I love you:)

After our amazing girls weekend was over, Sabrina stayed in Utah for a couple extra days to play.
