Holy Moly. It has been way to dang long since I have posted. Normally I wouldn't bore you with my lame excuses....but this time, they are far from lame. Ready?
5.Work. Need I say more? I manage a RETAIL store. I live there durning the holidays. Live there. Luckily, 98.5% of the time, I love my job. I LOVE my girls I work with...and love the customers...MOST of the time. :)
4. Busy. I swear I am NEVER home. Just ask my family. I live in my car. I am just a wanted woman, I guess.
3. Sleep. Or lack there of. I haven't been sleeping all that great at night, due to LOVELY lower back spasms. Honestly, they are a gem. I thought I was having a kidney stone...just at night....for weeks. Now the doctor has found I have spasms that are keeping me up. I have been really hesitant to take ANY while prego...however, the muscle relaxers...have worked WONDERS. I am nice again:)
2. Brian is working swing shift. SO, he works from 3pm-midnight and I see him for about 30 minutes in the morning when I head off to work, and 30 minutes at night when I stay up to see him. It sure makes our weekends and days off REALLY special. I Love that boy and I am so grateful for his sacrafice right now. I got myself a keeper:)
1. I'm pregnant. 28 weeks to be exact. HELLO 3rd TRIMESTER!!! I am SOO excited to meet my little jumping bean. This little dude is ONE BUSY FELLOW. I love it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE feeling him swim laps around my belly, do squats on my bladder and pull ups on my ribs. It is so crazy to realize that I am a mommy:) I can't wait to meet him!!!
Pictures coming soon. Me and my camera haven't been getting along lately. I shall post pictures of my big belly soon. It will make you ALL want to rub it:)

IT'S A BOY!!
What a FUN FUN day!! The ultrasound was SO fun! Guppy had his hands over his head, and then waved his little fingers at us:) Talk about melting our little hearts!!! The doctor did all the measurements and said that everything looks great. Guppy was moving and kicking throughout the whole ultrasound:) It was so fun to see him and feel him move at the same time. It was good for Brian to see it aswell...I think it made it feel more real to him! what a great experince!
Guppy was a little jokester and wouldn't spread his tiny little legs for us. The doctor was moving him all over and finally caught a little glimpse of the goods:) Sure enough... BOY! We are SOOO excited and are off to Park City this weekend to celebrate thanks to a dear friend of ours who is letting us use her condo this weekend! Park city outlets...HERE WE COME!

Draino Test
Durning the course of our pregnancy...Brian and I have taken every test, done all the voo-doo crap we can think of to figure out the sex of our little womb nugget.
The ring over the right hand....says Boy
The energy test (kind of like the ring...but with her own special baby predictor)....says Boy
The Chinese sex calendar...says Boy.
As you can see, clearly we are having a boy.
But wait.
Have you heard about the Draino Test? One of my customers actually went home and got me crystal draino, so that I might test my urine to see what my baby is. She was a perfect stranger by the way...but was SOOO determined that her test NEVER fails...she went home and brought me back, Crystal Draino. (Which in case you are wondering....is kinda hard to find in stores, apparently)
SO. I decided to take, yet another, test.
This one seems...and I say this lightly....a little more accurate. Maybe. This is "science". Kinda. She swears, and a few other people swear that this test NEVER FAILS. Well, in 11 hours and 30 minutes, we will know:)
Because I know the curiousity is KILLING you...here is a step by step guide on the "Draino Test"
Step One: Drink lots of water....until you feel as if you are going to burst.
Step Two: Pee into a plastic cup. (The red "SOLO" cups are best. More sturdy and tall.) Honestly by this time in the pregnancy, you should be used to peeing on things...so this shouldn't be hard.
Step Three: GO OUTSIDE. Honestly don't EVEN mess around with the idea of doing this inside. Find a storm drain. You WILL thank me later.
Step Four: In another Red Solo cup, place your crystal draino. Remember....OVER THE STORM DRAIN!
Step Five: (For some reason I can blog about my deepest darkest secrets on this blog and post pictures about nearly EVERYTHING...however, posting a color picture of my urine...felt wrong. Trust me....that was pee. Fresh pee. Remember the first picture, I really filled that cup.) Slowly pour your "fresh" urine into the draino filled cup. I have no idea the measurements....just start pouring. The magic doesn't take long.
Step Six: Watch and PLUG YOUR NOSE!!! For some reason, this chemical reaction smells like DEATH! (I know, it's just pee...trust me. It is crazy smelling.)
Step Seven: Time to evaulate your results.
If the "mixture" turns brown and foams up...just a little, and kinda begins to separate....You are having a boy.
If the "mixture" turns aqua and nearly foams over the cup....you are a having a girl.
As you can tell by the picture, my mixture turned aqua and almost overflowed. It was WILD the way this little cup foamed, sizzled and stunk. Honestly we thought the cup would melt it got so hot! Such NASTY fun!
Step eight: Do not get too close to subject matter...seriously one smelly cup-o-pee. But, you must remove potent pee somehow and somewhere....Your neighboors lawn is NOT a smart spot.
Step nine: Dispose of evidence
Step ten: Kiss your honey bunz. There is a 50% chance that this test is correct...and you both are so thrilled!
The ring over the right hand....says Boy

Step Tweleve: Go Shopping. Who needs a ultrasound? This is high tech science:)
Only 10 hours and 15 minutes until we go to the Doctor....this little womb nugget better get ready to show off all of it's parts and peices....WE CAN'T WAIT!
Time to put these tests and theories to an end!! Spread 'em little peanut!

Mt. Timpanogos Temple
The faces say....PURE JOY:)
One year later...a little family of three:)
Our anniversary marked our 20 week mark! We are half way there!
This year for our anniversary we had plans to head to St. George and spend the weekend basking in the sun. However, due to some technicial difficulties...our plans fell through for friday night and we ended up (SUPER LAST MINUTE) grabbing a hotel friday night Downtown SLC. We stayed in a beautiful room at the Homewood Suites and ate an amazing meal at Biaggi's (AMAMZING italian place) Saturday we headed down to St. George with Brian's cousin Cody and his wife Alycia. We stayed in a condo down there and ate, hiked, ate and ate some more. It was a great weekend!
Happy One Year baby!! Thanks for sticking with me:) I love you!

"We made a baby" Contest
Image from Google Images'
We find out on Friday the 22 whether Guppy is a Boy or Girl!!! The doctors office is making me wait until 21 weeks. Grrr.... I realize that "back in the day" you had to wait until the little thing sprung forth from your womb...but I am a modern day girl, who LOVES modern technology. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT MY BABY IS!! I think boy, Brian thinks girl. Either way, one of us is right:) BUT, we would like to take a poll to see what you think. We are keeping track of peoples guesses...and the closest person will win a little prize, no matter how far away you live.
SO, in the comment box...leave the following information to enter the "We made a Baby" contest.
Gender, Weight, Height, Date, Hair Color, Eye Color.
Just for your guessing info...
I was 6lbs 11 oz and Brian was 8lbs 14 oz.
We are due March 7, 2011
Good luck:)

Boise State vs Virgina Tech Football Game
For those of you who do not know....my husband is the BIGGEST BSU fan. Ever. I think his blood is actually orange and blue. SO, in order to win wife of the year award....I humored him and we threw a wild BSU kick off party. Brian has been planning this for MONTHS, and has been counting down for football season since the second it ended:) Therefore, for BSU's first game of the season vs Virgina Tech, we decided to go all out. (PS...this was on Labor day. I am a wee bit behind)
Here is the set up. EVERYTHING had to be BLUE & ORANGE.
Brian even bought big bag of M&M's and we went through and pulled out
all the blue and orange ones:) Obessed?? Maybe.
Here is the grub. Blue jello, orange jello, Sunkist, Blue Mtn Dew, Blue koolaid, Blue veggie dip, blue corn chips, queso dip, bbq and chessey looking chips, wings, kabobs, sausage...you get the point....all man food, and all BLUE AND ORANGE. I must say, my honey bunz is quite creative.
Brian hugged that football for most of the third quarter and all of the fourth. He was quite stressed. I guess this was a big deal:) Here he is, talking to his family back in Boise. They were nervous and sweating as well. They ALL are HUGE fans!
Throughout the evening we had 30 people show up. It was quite intense. We held the shin dig and my parents house....with a TV upstairs and downstairs.
Here are our good friends Matt and Keri McGhee... we forgot to get pictures with Jake and Suzanne, who are one month behind us in their pregnancy!!!

THANK GOODNESS they won. It was touch and go there in the end. Brian and a bunch of other guys were pacing around the basement...I think they wore a hole in the carpet:) Here is my little bump as of early september...trust me I am MUCH bigger now. I will post a picture soon to prove it. The littlest bronco is growing:)
In case you are dying to know, BSU won 33 to 30....and beat them within the last 2 minutes of the game. Needless to say, my baby nearly cried he was so excited.
Go Broncos:)

Introducing Guppy
Hi, my name is Guppy. I am just over 2 inches long and I weigh 1/2 ounce, I like to compare myself to the size of a lime. I am over 12 weeks old and growing big and strong every day.
When my Mommy first went potty on the stick...and it came out positive, my Daddy couldn't believe it, and made her take another one...2 in 1 hour! Then a couple days later, she had to take another one! My silly daddy. A postive is a postive:) BUT, he is so excited to meet me. He talks to me all the time and rubs my mommy's belly when she is feeling yucky. He's going to be so fun:)
Now that you are all excited to meet me, let me tell you a little bit about my wee self.
I enjoy anything with potatoes, especially mashed. I think I get this from my Daddy; he is from Idaho. I guess I am his little "spud" or "spud-let".
I haven't craved much sugar, but trust me....my time will come. However, don't tell Grandpa Davis, but I do have a hankering for M&M's every once in a while. Especially the Pretzel ones...again, they have salt:)
I am not a fan of Alfredo Sauce or Ham...even the smell puts me over the edge. Honestly, even the look of white sauce on anything looks nasty. Maybe someday i'll like it...but SICK, not now.
I love my mom and dad's bed and enjoy a good nap. However, I do make my Mommy get up 100 times a night to use the little girls room....I find it quite funny. I make her think she needs to go, so she runs in there...and just a wee trickle comes out. Then I throw my teeny little head back and laugh. Someday she'll think its funny too. I just gotta remind her that I am still in there.
I am not a huge fan of car rides, and I let Daddy and Uncle Lance know that last week on our road trip to California. How do I put this tactfully; Mommy barfed her guts out. I was proud of her for not getting it in her hair or all over the inside of the car. However, I don't think Uncle Lance and Daddy enjoyed the show. I felt better, that's for sure.
This past week I decided to pop out a bit and show Mommy and the rest of the world that I am in here and growing. Mommy's not huge yet, just getting a little bit of a belly. However, I don't feel bad. I need the space. I have a lot of work to do in here.
I am waiting until October to spread my tiny legs and show the world what I am made of. I love driving my parents crazy and not exposing myself until then. My daddy swears up and down that I am going to be his little princess, and Mommy thinks I am going to be her big football star. Mommy and Daddy already got a little excited and bought me an outfit...one for each flavor. I love having my own little secret.
I am planning my trip out of this nice warm uterus, sometime early March. The Dr says March 7th....but I have plans of my own. My mommy has her own idea on when she would like me to come...but I'm making the travel plans. This is a big day for me, I want to be fully cooked and ready for this grand entrance.
Today Mommy and Daddy got to hear my tiny heart beat. The Dr was pretty great and didn't make Mommy strip down and put those funny looking gowns on. I for one am not a fan of those....I feel cold and invaded and I am pretty sure my Mommy isn't a huge fan either:)
Well, like I said...I am busy growing, moving and shaking...so I must be headed for bed. I've got a busy agenda this week of developing my reflexes. Do you know that this week I am able to curl my fingers and toes.....that is why I was finally able to get this email out. I no longer have webbed fingers. Aghhh what a relief.
Well this is Guppy signing off. Hope you all feel like you have gotten to know me better.
For those of you who are a little slow....and need a little explanation....
I'M PREGNANT!!!

Hello...anyone home?
Whoops. Where did the time go. I have updates. I have pictures. I don't have time. Sweet cheeks and I are headed to Lake Tahoe and Yosemite on Saturday, and therefore I have swamped. BUT I do feel updates coming. Where has summer gone? I swear I am not lazy, just busy. I know, crappy excuse. Forgive.
Maybe if you all left comments on how much you missed me, loved me, wished you could be me....then I would feel more inclined to blog. :) J/k don't let my head get any bigger, I already know how much I mean to all of you. I am truely amazing.
Unless I get eatten up by bears this weekend, talk to you next week.

Freedom Run 5K
On July 5th, Provo City held the annual Freedom Run. Brian and his family have been participating in many events over the years....but this year the only ones that could attend were Brian, Me, Carly and Brian's Sister Krista and her two kiddo's. We got up at 5am, and left the house at 5:30am. Needless to say it was early and a wee bit chilly. Who knew we would be shivering in JULY! I am not sure why the pictures are so blue, except for that it was too cold for the camera:)
Carly was a champ and ran the whole thing by her self!! She only came in 5 minutes behind Brian!! GO GIRL!
Wow, I look like death in this picture.
Krista and I ran together, at a steady normal pace. :)
Brian made it in 25:10!!! Go babe!! He usually does the 10k, but wanted to hang back with the common folk. Maybe next year:)
Afterwards we headed to Spanish Fork to have breakfast and lunch with Granny & Gramps Hansen. Brian and I crashed like babies in the grass and fell asleep for an hour:) It was marvelous.
Hope everyone had a fun and safe 3/4/5th of July. Which ever day you celebrated:)

7 Peaks
Last weekend my Mom had two free tickets to Seven Peaks Water Park and gave them to Brian and I. It was so nice to be outside and just relaxing in the water. The park was fairly busy, but we were still able to make it on some rides. I felt like we were teenagers again!! I still get giddy about rides and themeparks:) We were only able to be there about 4 hours, but well worth the trip!
Emmett,ID Fathers Day 2010
Father's Day weekend, Brian and I headed up to Emmett, Idaho for a family gathering. We were able to see his three sisters and their families aswell as Brian's Parents:) We had a great weekend, filled with games, amazing food, games, and some more games. On Saturday we went to the Cherry Festival; went to a baby animal petting zoo, drank delicious Slush Spins and watched the Gem County Parade. It was SOO much fun to be with Brian's family and to be outside!! Hooray for Summer! (Finally!)
One of the big reasons for this weekends visit, was to meet the almost new Brother in Law. Alicia, Brian's younger sister and Aaron are getting married in SEPTEMBER!! So of course we had to start planning the wedding!!! (Alicia is sitting next to me, holding our nephew Christian and her so to be hubby is sitting next to her)
Here is exactally half the fam. We are missing two brothers, one bro in law, one sis in law and 6 kiddo's. Maybe next time!!
Here are the sissy's...(Me, Rachel, Alicia & Krista) I could not have asked for a better in-law family. I am SOOO blessed! This picture isn't quite complete, we are missing Deanna...hopefully I can meet her at the wedding this September:)

Happy Birthday Baby!!!
On Monday, June 7 my sweet cheeks celebrated his big 3-0. I had to work all day Monday...but I woke him up with donuts, chocolate milk and mango/orange juice....and the Indiana Jones box set. He was thrilled:)
Little did he know, the fun wasn't going to stop there.
I threw him a "surprise gathering"...because I wasn't allowed to throw him a surprise party:) We had a great time, with plenty of food and a fun game of SCUM on the pool table.
He was surprised....and still loves me:)
Happy Birthday Baby. Just think, 30 is the new 20. :) Love you!
LOOK AT THOSE CANDLES!!!
Don't worry, the fire department was on standby.
GOOD JOB BABY!! (he almost needed an oxygen tank...poor old guy:) just kidding.

Moab- Memorial Weekend
For Memorial weekend, my family headed out to Moab for some fourwheeling and camping. We had two trailers and one BIG tent. We ate, played in dirt, played games and hiked...and I think we slept somewhere in there, however I am not quite sure:)
Friday night we got there and went on a short ride and played games.
Saturday we went on a long ride and went into "Hey Joe" Mine...it was quite the adventure climbing in and out...you basically had to scoot on your stomach!
And here is a picture inside the mine...Only my parents, Carly, Brian and I went on this ride, it was too long for the kids.
It was huge inside...really dark and back in the mine divided into three tunnels! CRAZY!
On the ride home, I got a little heat sick, and barfed up starbursts on the side of the trail...bummer. After a ton of water, rest and gatorade...I was feeling like brand new that night.
Sunday we headed over to Arches National Park and hiked to the delicate arch (the one on the utah license plates)....it was quite warm, but had a great time!
Everyone including the children came....Koda loves her new little backpack:)
We think we are so hot!
Here is the family picture:) I swear my mom is in there...she is just hiding in the back:)
Meet Kaleb...my little 3 month old nephew....isn't he a doll?? I love this little kid!
This is Koda....she is my little buddy. I love living right next to these kiddos...we have SOOO much fun! (She just cooled off with a refreshing Capri Sun)
I seriously love this girl!!! She loved playing in the rocks and fourwheeling...my kinda woman:)
Where is dad??
We all voted that this was the cutest little wedgie anyone had ever seen:) PS....don't you love my hair. Fantastic!
Koda LOVES fourwheeling....and couldn't get enough of it. She went on a special ride with grandpa and grandma...and totally fell asleep...grandpa had to hold her head up the whole ride back. AND...incase you were worried, she was wearing a helmet, it just wasn't working with the camera:)
Here was our little home. Landon and MaLese slept in the trailer with the babies, mom/dad and carly slept in the toy hauler and Katie/Cory, Bri and I slept in the Castle on the rocks (tent). We had a great site, with hardly any bugs....seriously, we saw like three!! It was great!
Here is Katie and Cory....don't ask. We didn't, we just took pictures:)
Helmet Heads....I felt like a mario kart racer:)
Monday we went on another family ride and then while the rest of the family headed home, Brian and I headed off to Canyonlands for a little site seeing....
We had such a great weekend! Thanks Mom and Dad!
By the way...I am going to try and be better at blogging...I have been getting in trouble by alot of you:) I honestly don't even have a good excuse anymore:)

How do you do it??
Calling all wives...
Alright ladies, gimmie some advice. I am almost 7 months into this wife business...and I feel like I have missed the boat somewhere. Was there an..."how to be an amazing wife" class that I didn't take?
Don't get me wrong....honey bunz still loves me, I am just wanting/needing to be better.
I don't cook. HOWEVER, he knew this before he married me, so therefore...who really is at fault:) But still, I am sure deep down in his sweet soul he wishes his wifey would put her domestic apron on and whip up a delightful home cooked meal. I've tried...but I failed. I can make the food look good (that is my creative, decorating side...) but it still manages to taste somewhat like dog meat. Hungry yet?
We have been moved into our new place for two weeks now...and I still haven't got this place under control. Seriously....how long should it take, it is only the two of us. As I am sitting here now, in the living room...looking at the floor, I realize that I haven't vacuumed since after we moved in. I am sure 10 of you just gasped in disappointment...get over it and come vacuum my house:)
FOR THE RECORD...I am not even going to mention the laundry. Not a single word.
Now...on the positive side, 1/4 of my house is decorated:) Seriously, we all know where my priorities are! Like I said, just 1/4...the rest is sitting in the spare bedroom begging me to be put away. Honestly, after decorating for 8 hours a day for other people....sometimes I don't feel like hanging pictures, dusting frames or fluffing greenery! Shame on me. Although other times, fluffing my precious gems seems more important than dinner and dishes, and far more fun:)
For the record....honey bunz is an amazing husband. He cooks like a chef and has NEVER once complained about my lack of cooking ablities. He also helps out A TON around the house. Always asking to do more....he loves "honey-do" lists...and I hate making them. AND....I should mention that he HATES it when I take out the trash. Hates it. What a sweet heart. Now you see why I want to be better! Look who I married:)
NOW for the confession. I have spent the last 2 hours blog stalking. (Gasp) I know...I know...you are all thinking, slap your apron on and grab a cook book/ plug in the stinkin vacuum/ hang that picture that has been sitting on the floor in the hall for two weeks. . . . . blah blah blah.
However, I have noticed that you ladies are amazing. I have noticed that you new mothers out there have it more together than I do. You mothers with 15+ kids have your houses cleaner than mine. You wives feed your husbands like kings and from the looks of things, your food even tastes good. Seriously ladies...don't make me name drop and call you out personally. You know who you are. How do you do it?
Come on ladies...share your dirty little secrets. I am going for wife of the year and could use some pointers!! What are your tricks? I don't even have kids yet and I am failing the wife of the year award. HOW DO YOU DO IT?

MOVING DAY!
Dear Mother Nature,
Please stop raining. We are trying to move, you have decided to pour your heart out. I understand you are upset, but WHY the two times that we have tried to move things this week must you pour pigs and chickens. I wouldn't be so upset if it was just a gentle drizzle...but seriously, ease up.
Yours Truely,
Drowned Rat.
Too bad I didn't read this tip last night while packing.
Bummer.

L.I.F.E.
Life is SUPER busy right now. So busy in fact....I have neglected my second love...blogging.
I will now explain why I have left you all in the dark.
Grab a cookie, this could get boring.
SO....here it is, 9:30pm on a beautiful wednesday evening and I am jamming out to some tunes, chewing minty gum and packing up my house. You may be wondering to yourself...what kind of tunes am I jamming too...(currently listening to Creed...I need good packing music). Second, you may be wondering what kind of gum I am chewing...Green. And third, you are probably wondering why I am packing up my lovely abode.
Well....here ya go.
Back in early Feb, baby cakes lost his job:( It wasn't his dream job or anything, but still a bummer to the checkbook. As you all know, this current economy is not super fantastic to be job hunting in....SO, we are still looking. He has been offered some jobs, but they really won't work for our simple yet fanastic lifestyle (ie...moving across the country, working EVERY sunday until the day he dies, and working at 3am (and getting paid in peanuts) SO....we are still looking. No worries though, we have grown more in the last two and a half months then we could have ever thought possible. We have learned a simple lesson in food storage (thank GOODNESS for cereal) and have learned lessons that will only benefit us in the future. What a great blessing it has been to learn and grow together.
Are you bored yet???
SO, back to the packing (as I just turned around and saw piles of empty boxes....whoops, I got distracted!)
When we signed our lease for our apartment, we only signed a 6 month lease...I have no idea why, but at the time we both felt that 6 months was the best decision. Recently my brother bought a house and my dad and him have been finishing the basement to be a full apartment. Wouldn't you know, the month our lease is up, is the same month they are looking for renters...:) So, we are packing up and headed to live in my brothers basement. I will go from a 5 minute commute to a 25 minute...but living by family will make it worth it. PLUS we get granite countertops in our kitchen. SOLD! This will give us some time to figure out our next step and we don't have to sign a lease:) yahoo! Plus I get to live right next to my adorable neice and nephew! DOUBLE bonus!
This should help you understand why I have been neglecting my sweet blog and blogging friends. I still spy on you fine people from time to time, so keep up the posting. In the mean time, if you know of a job for baby cakes, shoot me an email :) Honestly, we are learning it is not what you know, but who ya know!
I better get my bunz in gear before baby cakes gets home from basketball...I haven't packed a single box:)
Love to all!!!

Sealed for Time and all Eternity!
Woah...I got a little off schedule. HOWEVER, have no fear. I am back:) As promised...here are the wedding day pictures; at the Timpanogos Temple.
I was SOOO nervous that it was going to snow on my wedding day...this is Utah. The weather changes every five minutes. When Katie got married in August, it POURED! But....it was PERFECTLY sunny, not a cloud in the sky and warm, esp for middle of October:)
Here is Brian's immediate family...we are missing one brother, one sis in law and 4 nieces and nephews.
The Ma, Pa and In-Laws. . . .
