Ohh how fitting!! We see an American flag on the fourth of JULY!!! I am proud to be an American!!
Looks like I found my Italian Stallion!!
Me and the awesome Brooks family!!
Mikell and I, looking so fine, waiting in line!!
Today was our first structured day in Florence. We went to the Ufitizi and the Academia and walked a little more around Florence. We got to see the David, which was very cool to see the orginial! I wanted to take pictures inside, but I didn't want to get caught. I am trying to be a good person and obey the rules...(and the tour guide was standing right next to me, when I finally had the chance). We had a tour guide all day today, and he was really awesome! We were all a little tired so I am sure that I missed some information, but he was really nice and knew his stuff. It was nice to see the art in Florence, and understand a bit more of the history. After the muesums, Kysha and I walked down to the markets for one last run. Just in case we missed something! Ohh and tonight we had our last Gelato run. Tears almost streamed down our face. My favorite was Chocolate Hazelnut and Coconut. I will surely miss that sweet goodness!! It's a good thing we walked so much, to help justify Gelato twice a day:) I can't believe that my trip is over tomorrow!! This has really flown by so quickly. I am excited to get home and wash my clothes, sleep without earplugs and shower without shoes....but there are sure some things I will miss. I have meet and become friends with so many awesome people on this trip. We all have become a little family of 21. Darrin and his wife Carolyn have been amazing to travel with. There is no way that I could of ever done so much, if I had just done this with a tour guide. This was definatly a once in a lifetime experince and I am so grateful I was able to go. I will be glad to step foot on American soil again, and eat mexican food:) I am coming home!!
